Ghana School of Law Records Massive Entrance Exams Failure

Another case of mass examination failure at the Ghana School of Law has been recorded yet again. The mass failure was recorded at the entrance exams of the Law School.

Only 128 out of the almost 2000 students reportedly passed the entrance examination.

A notice at the school as at Tuesday showed that less than 10% of the students passed. More than 90 percent of those who sat for the entrance exam failed to obtain the needed marks to enable them secure admission.

This is a repeated occurrence of the entrance exam in the School of Law.

According to Citi news the results are yet to be contested by any of the students, they show a sharp decline in the numbers admitted into the School in previous years.

500 students were admitted into the school in 2017 which was slightly higher than the 450 students admitted in 2016.

Concerned citizens have called for an investigation into the circumstances that lead to the high volume of failures annually in the school.

Last year , Mr. Ken Kuranchie was seeking  a scrapping of the entrance exam.

Ken Kuranchie and other persons vocally advocated for reforms in the legal education system to enable more people to get access to legal education.
