Parents,guardians and their wards trooped to the Black Stars Square as early as 6:00am to participate in the SHS placement exercise.
The 30,000 capacity structure is filled to the brim with students who qualified to get a placement at a Senior High School they have not chosen but may have enough space.
JoyOnline has reported the collapse of two unnamed teenagers who collapsed at the Square while in a queue to get a shot at education.
The frustrated crowd includes parents, guardians, wards and journalists. Those with a direct interest are there to correct problems relating to their placement after their previous selections failed them.
The two female students had been in the queue since morning hoping to resolve their issues at the Ghana Education Service (GES) center.
Concerned persons tried to revive the girls by splashing them with water.
A number of qualified students with exceptionally good grades did not receive any placement by the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).
They have the option to do the placements themselves in schools that still have enough space.
