Multiple award winner Sarkodie, has just been made the Ambassador for the Year of Return.
In Washington, D.C., in September 2018, Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo declared and formally launched the “Year of Return, Ghana 2019” for Africans in the Diaspora, giving fresh impetus to the quest to unite Africans on the continent with their brothers and sisters in the diaspora.
He was honored by Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi for his “amazing works and promoting Ghana on the international stage”

Sarkodie in a Tweet also spoke about how The Tourism Minister was invested in setting up initiatives towards supporting the entertainment industry.
