Gunshots at NAM1’s residence, 200 customers arrested

Menzgold C.E.O Nana Appiah Mensah cannot catch a break from his troubles. Aggrieved customers of the company made their way to NAM1’s house in the elite Trassaco neighbourhood. The customers of Menzgold were there to demand the payments of their locked up investments.

The custumers report of a gunshot that was heard at the residence. The panicked customers say the private security officer who manned the house was the one who pulled the trigger.

The gunshot was enough to have the customers scampering away for dear life.

Much later, an emergency response team dispatched from the Greater Accra regional Police command stormed the residence and went on to arrest some 200 of the aggrieved customers.

Reports indicate ACP Kwesi Fori the leader of the Police team, was heard ordering the arrests. He gave additional instructions ordering that the residence be sectioned off.

The customers were there to confirm reports of other Menzhold parties being paid their investments which were locked up. The customers who made their way to the residence indicate that the social media post by NAM1 concerning the payment of their investments is untrue.

The almost 400 customers met at Shiashie and made their way to Trassaco Valley.

Once they reached the residence, the security refused the customers’ request to enter the house. The confrontation resulted in the gunshot.

The customers were charged with ‘disturbing the public peace’.
