Ghanaians on Twitter are calling media houses in Europe to give credit to former Ghana international, Stephen Appiah after a goal celebration from Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland.
The Borussia Dortmund young sensation who is representing Norway at the ongoing Uefa Nations League scored twice when his side travelled to face Northern Ireland and eventually won 5 goals to one.

But it is Haaland’s second goal celebration that is causing all the stir on social media after major news outlets credited the celebration to Spanish and former Swansea City forward, Michu.
Erling Haaland copied childhood hero Michu's celebration after his second goal last night.
The streets will never forget that season for Swansea.

Some Ghanaians are unhappy as they feel the real and pioneer of that goal celebration was former Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah.
After scoring a penalty that won the Black Stars last group fixture against the United States of America at the 2006 World Cup in Germany, the midfielder dashed to the fans performing the “mind twist” celebration.
Here are some of the tweets of some Ghanaians calling for the celebration to be credited to Stephen Appiah.

Stephen Appiah has been doing this in his Juve and Fenarbache days, it’s his trademark goal celebration, even in Germany 2006 World Cup he did same celebration after scoring against USA way before Michu, Luca Toni and now Haaland replicating that. pic.twitter.com/xLJDlwQmQo
