Ghanaian actress Ama K. Abebrese has taken “Counsellor” George Lutterodt to the cleaners for another controversial statement on a live television show. In his own words, Lutterodt indicated that “every rape victim enjoys the act.” on the Adom TV show.

This is a quote from a self professed ‘counsellor’ George Lutterodt from Ghana on a tv show yesterday.

According to the quack counsellor, all rape victimscertainly enjoy being raped even though they did not consent to it when the rape begun. Ama K. on the other hand believes that this is statement would never be uttered by any professional counsellor but will rather be something a counsellor would rather “discredit”.
Something that any real professional counsellor and expert will discredit.

She tweeted:

“This man Lutterodt is a rape apologist simple. One of the worse I have seen because he masquerades with the title of ‘counsellor’ to essentially justify and normalise rape culture with a reprehensible statement that ‘all victims of rape enjoy the act’”.
In 2016, the Acting Registrar of the Ghana Psychological Council, Dr Dinah Baah-Odoom stated that “Now before anyone can make any pronouncement that person must be a registered member of the Ghana Psychological Association. Counseling is a psychological service although many Ghanaians don’t know, there are certificate and diploma courses for lay counselors, and Counselor Lutterodt is not a professional counselor so we could have registered him as a lay counselor. I assure you that he’s not a registered member of the association and per the law ACT 857 he’s not supposed to give counseling service.”
He then replied saying he is ready to drop the title but he will go on to dish out his outdated and utterly confusing “advice” anytime he makes a radio or television appearance.
