Anthony Dzamefe Alleged Rape Case Gets Murkier

Since the story of the alleged rape case against CEO of Caveman watches broke a few days ago, the controversy is taken a fast turn of events.

A young man called Nana Kwame,  purporting to be the friend of the accused posted what appears to be a screenshot of a  conversation between himself and Anthony in which the accused claims his sexual encounter with Mary Brittle was consensual.

In the screenshot, the contact labeled “Anthony Dzamefe”, which we are being made to believe is the accused,  reveals that Mary requested a sum of GHC7000 to start a business, in return for sexual favors to the accuser.

“Anthony Dzamefe” agrees and they proceed to have 6 rounds of consensual sex, after which he refused to pay her the agreed money.

Mary, aggrieved,  threatens to teach him a bitter lesson, hence the subsequent viral rape accusations.

This is where it gets murky:

A certain young man with the facebook name   Agyemang Duah Kweku Jnr, claims to be a friend of  Nana Kwame, says the young man fabricated the Facebook chat between himself and Antony.

Backing his claim with his own Facebook chats with Nana Kwame which he posted on his wall,    Nana Kwame purportedly confessed that no such conversation ensued between himself and Anthony. And that he shared the screenshot as an attempt to defend Anthony as he suspects that  Mary Brittle’s claims of rape is a fabricated attempt to defame Anthony Dzamefe.

Meanwhile, Dela Goldheart, puts it succinctly in her Facebook post that the young man’s attempt to defend Anthony’s person and brand is futile, as he has just painted him as a man who agrees to pay a stranger for sex, has six rounds with her and refuses to honor the agreement.

Dizropt has requested a response from  Anthony Dzamefe on the matter. Only when we get one, can we get clarity to the whole matter. For now, all the claims being made by all quarters are allegations that are yet to be proven.
