Asem explains reasons for his ‘beef’ with Sarkodie

Ghanaian rapper, Asem is trending again on Twitter after he posted videos clarifying the reasons for his beef with fellow ace Ghanaian rap star, Sarkodie.

According to rapper Asem, he was minding his own business and trying to promote his album and career when Sarkodie poked him first with the music producer challenge. He went on to say he felt it was all fun and games after, till Sarkodie dropped a diss song ‘Sub Zero’ which was targeted at him.

“I’m hippop, hippop is like boxing. If you are the champion, you will get challenged.
So when you go on twitter and throw a challenge, rappers are going to come at you.” he said.

“It’s hippop, I don’t have anything against him…i don’t even know him” he continued.

He went on to label Sarkodie as his ‘kid brother’ and dared him to face him on ‘Twitter streets’ since he started all this via Twitter.
