Basketball Legend Kobe Bryant reported dead

Gossip site, TMZ Sports has reported that Kobe Bryant died in a helicoper crash in Calabasas Sunday morning .

This information has been confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

According to the site,  Kobe

was traveling with at least 3 other people in his private helicopter when it went down. A fire broke out. Emergency personnel responded, but nobody on board survived. 5 people are confirmed dead. We’re told Vanessa Bryant was not among those on board.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.

Kobe has been known to use helicopters to travel for many years. This tradition began back when he played for the Lakers. He was also known for traveling from Newport Beach, CA to the STAPLES Center in DTLA in his Sikorsky S-76 chopper.
The Mamba is survived by his wife Vanessa, and their four daughters — Gianna, Natalia and Bianca and their newly born Capri.
At a recent NBA game, he was spotted with his daughter Gianna — a promising star basketball player. His death is very sad considering how his youngest daughter, Capri, was born less than a year ago (June 2019)
Widely considered one of the greatest and most influential NBA players of all time, he had made 18 All-Star teams during his 20 year career with the Lakers and was also a first-round pick in the 1996 NBA draft, winning 5 NBA championships, 2 NBA Finals MVPs. In 2008, Kobe was the league MVP.
He is the only player in Lakers team history to receive the honor of having two jersey numbers retired – 8 & 24.His alleged deathcomes as a shock to the basketball community as at as 15 hours ago, LeBron James scored the 33,644 point of his NBA career, passing Kobe Bryant for third place on the all-time scoring list.
