Chairman Wontumi and Angel FM morning show host, Captain Smart are currently at loggerheads after Captain Smart dared to criticise the Chairman Wontumi over his inappropriate comment about Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, Mahama’s running mate.
Weeks ago, Chairman Wontumi rained insults on Jane Naana Opoku Agyameng after she was announced as the running mate of former President Mahama. Chairman Wontumi claimed that her style is a depiction of her disappointment in herself, her family and the nation. Captain Smart rebutted saying, that it was wrong and crass for Chairman Wontumi to judge or throw jabs at Prof. Jane’s looks.
Rather than confront Captain Smart, Chairman Wontumi has decided to deal with Dr Kwaku Oteng the CEO of Angel Broadcasting Network (which employs Captain Smart). Chairman Wontumi’s reasoning is that, Captain Smart “is not on his level”. He made his threat whilst speaking on his own media station, Wontumi Radio.
Chairman Wontumi’s message to Dr. Kwaku Oteng was simply for him to take Captain Smart down a notch or face him (Wontumi). In his rants Chairman Wontumi claimed that Captain Smart is a thief who had to leave Fox FM due to his alleged thievery. He also said Captain Smart has allegedly “outsmarted” several women and duped them of their money.
