Chelsea Football Club have announced the signing of French defender, Malang Sarr on a free transfer.
The Premier League club are been seen as ruthless in this transfer window after Sarr became the 4th signing to join the Blues with deals for Thiago Silva and Havertz yet to be completed.
The U-21 defender has signed a five year deal with Chelsea with the club noting that he will go out on loan for his development and game time.
On signing Sarr, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia said: ‘The opportunity to sign Malang was one we could not miss. He is a tremendous prospect and we will be monitoring him closely during his loan period, hoping he will soon be back at Chelsea. We are very happy to welcome him to the club today.’
