Ghanaian artiste and philanthropist Criss Waddle took to Twitter to advice his 826,000+ followers against voting for one of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) aspiring candidates for the Asante Akyem South parliamentary seat.
The aspirant is Bice Osei-Kufour who is known in the Ghana music industry as Obour.
Criss Waddle claimed Obour “…is a waste of time and a selfish person” only worried about his interest.

Bice Osei Kuffour served as the president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA). He was elected into office on August 18, 2011. His tenure was plagued with accusations of mismanagement of funds.
In an interview in 2019, musician A-Plus described him as the “worst-ever” MUSIGA President.
Brother to Criss Waddle, Kwaisey Pee also described Obuor as a “fool” on a radio show some months past.
Following Criss Waddle’s downvote of Obour’s aspirations, other Twitter users contributed to the conversation.
Read their statements below:
You mismanage MUSIGA , you want joke plus the whole constituency
