Police were called to a Pennsylvania father’s house on his daughter’s wedding day when neighbours witnessed an explosion.
On the day of his daughter’s wedding the man allegedly exploded his own home in an apparent suicide.
Authorities in Edgewood, Pennsylvania, say the house blew up just before 2:30 p.m. local time on Saturday. The house collapsed atop the male homeowner, John Evans. His body was found later that night amid the rubble.
Neighbors informed police about some personal issues the gentleman faced. The information makes it likely that he blew up the house.
The gas line in the basement of the house was disconnected making it very easy for any spark to blow up the house. The flame engulfed house collapsed only two minutes after the explosion
The man’s family was out of the house as they were at a wedding. He also left his cell phone outside the house which contained suicide notes.
