Hon. Kennedy Agyapong the Member of Parliament for Assin Central has taken it upon himself to fight against what he calls “fake pastors” in the country.
Recently, the MP has made some surprising allegations against the founder and lead prophet of the International God’s Way Church, Prophet Obinim.
Kennedy Agyapong dropped various videos and other pieces of evidence which according to him, prove Obinim is a fraudster and occultist amongst other things. On The Seat on Net2TV, Kennedy Agyapong has accused Obinim of committing adultery, money laundering and also impersonating the Ghana Police Service.
The show hosted a prophet known as Demon Breaker who made some very interesting comments about the nature of pastors in Ghana. In the interview hosted by Kwaku Annan, he made mention of trips to Mallams and the trading of information from the host prophet(s) to the visiting prophets.
According to him, the host and visiting pastors lie to the congregation in order to seem more powerful and increase the belief in their “powers”.
Demon-Breaker also implicated Prophet Opambour in his confessions and gave examples of how they conspired with actors in 2010. As claimed in his statements, the names of these Prophets have underlying meanings and influence.
