Minister of Education in Ghana, Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has shared some information on when schools in Ghana will reopen.
Speaking to Serwaa Amihere on GhOne this morning, the minister said that school will be reopened when it is safe to do so. “We (the President and the cabinet) will make the decisions when it is most appropriate.”, he said.
He explained that even schools are opened, there are a lot of foreign students in our tertiary institutions. “What plans are we making if they are going to come back to school? Are we going to test them or quarantine?”
Hon. Prempeh told parents that after this whole pandemic, they should visit their kids in school and thank teachers for their work.
