Since yesterday, there has been rumours about a clash between Sarkodie’s manager, Angeltown and Reggae Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy which led to the former sustaining an injury on his eye.
An insider who was present on the scene spoke to Dizropt and narrated what really transpired at the Independence Square.
Sarkodie who is scheduled to host a virtual concert “Black Love Virtual Concert” with lot of top artistes on the bill has been rehearsing with them at the Independence Square but the session on Monday turned out to be an “odd’ one.
“Stonebwoy came for his rehearsal at the Independence Square and waited for his turn to get on stage. Shatta Wale who came later, had the opportunity to rehearse ahead of Stonebwoy who was still waiting. Unhappy Stonebwoy confronted Pounds (one of the rehearsal organisers) after Shatta Wale had left which heated up.”
“Stonebwoy wanted to hit Pounds after exchange of words but Angeltown who was around tried to calm him both of them. Still angry, the Putuu hitmaker’s punch landed on the face of Sarkodie’s manager who was still trying to seperate the qualm.”
“Angeltown who had a swollen eye was rushed to the hospital and is still now unable to open his left eye.”
Angeltown later shared a video on his Snapchat handle but we are still yet to hear from Sarkodie’s camp or Stonebwoy about the incident.
