Finance Ministry closed down over COVID-19 fears

The Ministry Of Finance of Ghana has been shut down effective immediately with all staff undergoing mass testing exercise for the Covid-19.

All staff members at the ministry have been directed to work from home as they wait for their turn for testing.

The Ministry, however, has put together a team of some core staff members to operate
from specific locations as they work towards the presentation of the Mid-Year Review Budget.

The statement signed by Chief Director of the Ministry, Patrick Nomo further advised  all staff to obey the COVID safety protocols  which have been put in place at the Ministry to ensure the protection of staff.

The Finance Ministry joins COCOBOD,  and other list of companies to institute internal restrictions to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
