Ghanaian NFL player Ziggy Ansah enstooled as chief

Ezekiel “Ziggy” Ansah a Ghanaian player in the National Football League (NFL) of America, has been enstooled as a chief. Ziggy’s new role as a chief in the Okuapeman region can be loosely translated as one regarding developmental issues in the Eastern Region.

The Okuapehene, Ɔseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III enstooled Ziggy, giving him the stool name Abrahene Nana Ansah. In the regal photos of the installation, the 6″4 athlete is seen towering over those gathered in the ceremony.

Expressing his gratitude the newly enstooled Abrahene Nana Ansah pledged to dedicate time and resources to build a sports academy the for people of Akuapem during his speech after the installation.

 

Ziggy Ansah completed his basic and secondary education in Golden Sunbeam Montessori School and the Presbyterian Boys Senior Secondary School respectively. Gaining a basketball scholarship, he moved to USA to pursue a university education and basketball career.

He discovered his affinity for American football talent while at varsity and eventually scored a place in the teams of the Detroit Lions and Seattle Hawks as a defensive end.
