Highlife legend Nana Tuffour passes on

The Ghanaian music industry has just recorded another loss. Highlife star Nana Tuffuor (stylized as 9-9-2-4) has passed away according to reports. The news was broken on various social media platforms. Host of Daybreak Hitz Andy Dosty, spoke with a close source who also confirmed the situation.

The source also said the singer had been ill for some time. The highlife artiste has recently lost a brother who has not been put to rest yet. 9-9-2-4 was set to release more songs this year.

It has been confirmed that he died at home in the early hours of Monday after a short illness and his body has since been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Mortuary in Kumasi.

The singer popularly known by many because of his hit singe “Abeiku” released a new song this year labelled “Abasa Komu”.

The ace singer who had over 15 albums to his credit later joined the Wanto Wazuri Band as a pianist.
