Communications Minister, Ursula Owusu has defended her fellow Minister of Ghana, Hawa Koomson in a tweet today.
She posted an article from the year 2012 where she was attacked in the Odododiodoo during a voter registration exercise in the area.
“I stand with Hawa Koomson. If I had a gun on me in April 2012 when NDC sponsored thugs attacked me in Odododiodio, I would have shot them to protect myself. I didn’t and the rest is history. She had the right to protect herself if she felt threatened.”; she said in a tweet.

The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South, Ursula Owusu, was subjected to severe physical assault by some heavily built men during a tour of some registration centres in the Odododiodoo Constituency on April 12, 2012.
She was in the company of Abu Jinapor, an aide to Nana Akufo-Addo, who had his share of the physical assault.
