Lawyers of Joro Olumofin, a psychologist and relationship expert have written a petition to the Nigerian Inspector General of Police to arrest micro blogger Tunde Ednut for “cyberbullying and criminal defamation”. The petition claims that Tunde’s jabs at Joro were published for the “purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience, danger, obstruction, insult, injury, criminal intimidation, enmity, hatred, ill will and needless anxiety”.
Also in the petition to the United States Department of States and the USCIS Atlanta Field Office, there was a request for the authorities to intervene and “cause an investigation into the fact that … Tunde Ednut is allegedly hiding in the United States as an illegal immigrant” who uses his illegal residence status to violate several Nigerian laws.
Joro Olumofin has an Instagram account which is famous for the publication of interesting stories ranging from relationship issues to weird bedroom fantasies that are sent to his email for advice. The emails sent to Joro are then posted as is in the form of a screenshot with the email, name and profile pictures of the senders blurred or blocked.
Tunde Olaoluwa aka Tunde Ednut a struggling musician/micro-blogger and alleged lackey to Nigerian celebrities and is alleged to be living in America illegaly.
Some weeks past, Tunde Ednut shared a post where he insinuated that Joro Olumofin fakes all the messages he supposedly receives from readers. To put his point across, Tunde posted a photo of a man operating multiple phones, with the caption, “Joro sending emails to himself and starting them with ‘Uncle Joro please keep me anon”.
Despite several clashes and previous warnings from Joro to Tunde in the past, it seems Tunde failed to desist from dragging Joro’s name and dedicated himself to trolling him and subbing him.
