MP for Assin Central and business mogul, Kennedy Agyapong has revealed how he contracted the global pandemic, COVID-19 from which he has recovered.
In an interview with Adom News, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong narrated how he has struggled with the virus and how and where he even got it in the first place.
“For over two weeks I was in quarantine; my nose was blocked and my bed was as if water had been poured on it coupled with a fever and within five days, I had lost weight drastically.”
“It was after my 60th birthday party which I resisted so much and it exposed me to people who had already tested positive…I dined with them and even for some people, they did not even have their nose masks on while others had theirs down the chin,” he said
The popular business mogul went ahead to advice Ghanaians about the virus and his story should be a lesson to all.
“I have recovered now and not shy to talk about it because I am a testimony but the disease is so real and we don’t have to joke with it,” he added.
COVID-19 cases in Ghana are now up to 28,989 with 3,505 active cases and 153 deaths recorded.
