Huge amounts of Ghana Cedi notes were left on the ground after a bullion van transporting money to the Bank of Ghana crashed leaving at least 1 person dead.
Several videos of the van and its spilled contents have been making rounds.
The sums of money were in plastic containers. Various pictures show Security Forces protecting the cash to prevent it from being stolen as other people gathered them up.
Reports indicate the accident happened on the Accra – Techiman stretch.
