The Electoral Commission (EC) announced that the district level elections in some electoral areas where polls were called off on Tuesday will continue today, Wednesday.
All affected areas will have their polls continuing between 7am and 5pm.

The Director of Electoral Services at the EC, Dr Sereboe Quarcoo said the extension has become completely necessary due to the challenges the affected areas faced.
Tema Central had the images of the candidates wrongly placed on the alloted ballot paper this caused the election to be put on hold.
Dr. Quarcoe in an interview with Citi FM, said the were challenges encountered and also indicated those affected elections will take place on Wednesday.
Dr. Quarcoo essentially described Tuesday’s process as largely successful.
The Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) gave a positive initial assessment of the District Assembly and Unit Committee elections. It however admitted that there were logistical challenges.
