The entire township was thrown into a frenzy after the incident occurred on Wednesday night.
The deceased is mourned by his two wives and nine children.
INFORMATION FROM POLICE
DCOP Tsum Bediako,Savannah Regional Police Commander confirmed the incident to reporters of Citi News. He also said the authorities are working to get a hold of the culprit.
DCOP Bediako said the police proceeded to the scene when they were informed about the incident. The man was found in his bedroom and the body was moved to the Tamale Teaching Hospital. A postmortem procedure was carried out and the body was later released to the family for burial.

Currently, no arrests have been made even thought the authorities are hopeful they will.
