A man suspected of having coronavirus was attacked with stones by vigilante mob.
The man, George Kotini Hezron was walking back home from a nearby bar when he was attacked by the angry mob. The incident happened in the uber tourist village of Msambweni.
The residents who suspected him of having the Corona virus made a decision to hang up on him as he made his way home around 9pm.
The irate mob had an argument with Hezron and accused him of having the disease. They then threw stones at him before fleeing the scene.
Hezron was later rushed to the Msambweni Subcounty Hospital. He unfortunately died of his injuries at the hospital.
