Nigerian coach, Ndubuisi Egbo has become the first African coach to win a league title in Europe after clinching the title with KF Tirana.

Albanian top division side, Klubi i Futbollit Tirana (KF Tirana) won the league and it was the Nigerian who was in the helm of affairs throughout the season.

KF Tirana were confirmed champions of the 2019/20 Albania SuperLiga season after second-place Kukesi lost 1-0 to Vllaznia on Sunday.

The former Super Eagles goalkeeper has also qualified the Albanian side for next season’s Uefa Champions League.

Egbo played as a goalkeeper during his career professional career, most notably representing Tirana, winning with them three trophies.

He was also a player of Nigeria national team, playing 12 matches and representing it in two tournaments of African Cup of Nations.
