Mixed reactions as foreigner gets thrown out of shopping mall

The unidentified foreigner refused to use the hand sanitizer at the mall.

A video we posted yesterday on our Facebook page is making waves as an unidentified foreigner was seen dragged out of Citydia mall.

It is alleged that she refused to use the hand sanitizer provided by the personnel at the mall and went ahead to hold shelves and touch some products as well.

The whole nation is in fear after the new global pandemic COVID-19 made its way into Ghana and since then, the country has recorded nine (9) cases so far with more tests being done.

With regards to this, the government has released precautionary steps for every citizen or person on the land to follow including churches, business and institutions with the key ones being washing of the hands regularly and using a hand sanitizer.

Now, some Ghanaians after watching the video think the security personnel was not right to drag the woman out with force, others also disagree and think it was a step I the right direction to ensure the safety of persons working there and everyone that visits the mall.

The big question is, was the woman right to reject their hand sanitizer or ignore the safety precaution measures given by the mall?

What do you make of this incident? Was the woman right or wrong? Tell us what you think in the comment box below.
