Omar Sterling declares money cannot buy happiness.

One half of Ghanaian music act rapper Paedae has disclosed his thoughts about money and its relation to happiness. According to the Paedae (aka Omar Sterling), he was “obsessed” making with money. His obsession led him to name his group he shares with Mugeez “Refuse 2 Be Broke (R2Bees) while he personally adopted the stage name ‘Payday Da Problem’.

Now that he has acquired a few grey hairs, he has however realized that money can certainly buy comfort but not happiness.

He disclosed this in a tweet, saying:

“When I was young, I was so obsessed with money i named our company Refuse 2 Be Broke and me Payday da pralem. As i grew older it dawned on me that our generation can boast of being the most comfortable from past generations but can we say we are the happiest?”

Omar Sterling also questioned how genuinely happy this generation is even though “our generation can boast of being the most comfortable from past generations”

He added: “Money can buy comfort no doubt but happiness NO. Happiness is an inside job. Look within it’s free and accessible to all. I love you.”
