Late Monday night, August 18 a plane crashed into a house near Connecticut’s Groton-New London airport.
The Groton police said a small plane crashed into a home on 225 Ring Drive few minutes to 11 pm, just two miles from the airport.
Footage of the incident available on the internet shows the jet wing and tail of the small plane sticking out of the roof of the destroyed house.
The area in front of the home was blocked of once the fire and police departments arrived at the scene.
The police also said that the two people who were on board the plane when it crashed had been taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.There was also one man inside the home, who did not sustain any injuries.
At the time of publication, The cause of the crash is still not known.
Several homes in the area were eventually evacuated in the area due to the dangerous fuel leaking from the plane.
