Ghanaian social media is on fire, and GhanaCelebrities.com founder Chris-Vincent Agyapong is keeping it hot. Statements made by Chris after the RTP awards last Saturday have created a social media frenzy.
Chris revealed shocking unconfirmed details about actor Prince David Osei and former TV3 presenter Frema Ashkur. The ongoing beef between Chris and the other parties were set off when Chris made an interpretation of Nana Aba Anamoah’s self-congratulatory speech.
Chris claims the former bestfriend and colleague Nana Aba spoke about is Frema Ashkur. In the words of Chris, his “sources” say “Frema disgracefully left TV3 the very day she was confronted about the juju matter and never returned.”
He repeated what Nana Aba Anamoah said in her Instagram post with a few more unconfirmed details than she provided. According to Chris, Frema had no idea at the time that the daughter of the juju woman she went to see for some African magic was an intern at TV3.
After Frema’s alleged visit the juju woman through her daughter, contacted Nana Aba Anamoah and provided all the shady details Frema’s request.
Nana Aba apparently confronted Frema Ashkar at the TV3 premises and the details of the confrontation spread like wildfire. Frema allegedly packed up and never returned to TV3.
Frema responded to the allegations with support from Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei. He chipped in that it was “time to start suing [the] a** ” of bloggers who write stories without confirming how true it is.
BEEF BETWEEN CHRIS AND PRINCE.
Former friends Chris and Prince have been going at it on Facebook and Instagram. Prince made allegations against Chris stating that, Chris Vincent had women helping him when he fell on extra hard times. Some sponsors of his even sent him canned tuna flakes (Starkist) from Ghana just to support him.
Along the line Chris made claims that Prince had borrowed GH¢500.00 from A-Plus and had not yet paid him back.
To back up his claims of how broke Prince is, Chris posted receipts of an airplane ticket he bought for Prince in 2012.
Not only is Prince alleged to have borrowed money from A-plus, Chris claims Prince has been harassing “a very respectful man in Ghana for money”
Statement by Chris
“In 2012, when the annual Cannes film festival was approaching, you contacted me through Fred Nuamah and you said you tried to buy a plane ticket from London to Nice (Cannes) but your bank card wouldn’t work. So I should buy it for you and then when you get here you will give me the money as you will use the airport near me. Because of Fred, I purchased the ticket for you.”
“When you got here and I asked about the money, just 184 pounds, you said you had only 90 pounds on you, and you were expecting some cash so you will pay me on your return from Cannes.”
“Did you pay the remaining balance? No! You couldn’t pay!”
“Grown up man, instead of going to find a job to do, you spend your time commenting on Instagram for which you are not paid for it! And sadly end up begging people for money.”
“Do me a favour broke celebrities—always begging for money.”
“Get a real job and stop borrowing money!”
“I am done helping your broke self! I still have the plane ticket in my inbox …”
“Keep living your lie on the internet, claiming big boy and celebrity while hungry. I see you people and smile—don’t try to bullshit someone who knows you in and out wai.”
Goodnight! I am done with this. These days, I try to mind my business but don’t take that to mean it’s not the same old Chris-Vincent!
