English Premier League club, Liverpool yesterday were confirmed Champions of England after Chelsea beat second placed Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
It was just a matter of time for the Merseyside club to be crowned league winners but Christmas came early for them as Frank Lampard and his Chelsea lads had the chance to hand them the title by beating Pep Guardiola’s side in a fierce encounter in London.
The match ended 2 goals to one in favour of the Blues with goals from Christian Pulisic and Willian which mathematically secured a first Premier League for Liverpool.
Some Liverpool players who watched the game at the comfort of their homes celebrated in style after the game as the club won its first league in 30 years.
