Suspect claims RCCG Pastor paid him to murder Uwa

The suspect in the alleged murder-rape case of Uwa has provided more details about the heinous crime. The suspect claims the head pastor of the branch of RCCG that Uwa was found at had impregnated the level 100 student. According to the confession, he asked the girl to abort the pregnancy but she refused to do so.

The pastor then made an arrangement for them to meet at the church premises which is said to be their usual hangout spot. He apparently paid her attackers 1.5million Naira (GHc22385) and told them where Uwa was supposed to be at. Uwa walked into the trap expecting to see the pastor but was rather attacked by the hired hoodlums.

They hit her on the head and went on to take turns to rape her.

The pastor and his wife are currently on the run as it is believed that he cooked up the plan with her.
