It’s been about an entertaining six months of back and forth shade between former friends Shatta Wale and Pope Skinny.
After the friendship between Shatta Wale and Pope Skinny went sour, both sides kept throwing jabs at each other.
The one time close friends parted ways early this year with both artistes throwing insults and allegations against each other.
Shatta once claimed Pope Skinny owed him a huge sum of money and was unable to pay back. Pope Skinny on the other hand spoke about their problems during a performance in a bid to clear things up.
During a performance at the Odwira Unlimited concert at Akropong in Eastern region, the rapper paused midway through his act and declared his undying love for the Reggae Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.
He stated that, Shatta Wale may never find a friend with all the qualities he (Pope Skinny) has. He further said: “I love my guy. I show am (sic) so much love. I never wrong am (sic) in any way. He just get problem with his brother and he knows that Pope Skinny is the one that will beg for that brother. So he say I for clear Pope Skinny.”
