Ghana Black Stars midfielder, Thomas Partey has tested for the dangerous global pandemic COVID-19.
The midfielder with his other teammates were at the team’s training facility on Wednesday to take the covid-19 test despite being indoors for a period of time.
Atletico Madrid have about 30 players testing positive and these players will be quarantined and taken through the four phases of testing, solitary training, group training before full-squad training will go ahead.
The club issued a statement on their social media handles announcing the
“Así fue la mañana en la que los miembros de la primera plantilla se realizaron las pruebas previas al regreso a los entrenamientos.”
In English, “This was the morning in which the members of the first squad were tested prior to their return to training.”
