Aderera Oloyede, a female undergraduate was found dead in an apartment that belongs to her boyfriend, Ayo Maliki.
The level 300 student was said to have gone to her boyfriend’s place with her friend identified as Kemi. According to the narration of the event by sources, Maliki had prepared a rice dish for his guests. As they all ate, Oloyede developed a stomach ache and started vomiting.
Efforts to provide her with aid yielded no result as she eventually died in the room.
The student union of Maliki’s school confirmed that he had gone into hiding. The student rep went on to say that the police had taken the body of the deceased away and investigation had begun.
The friend who went with the deceased to Maliki’s house has also been detained.
