A married woman (name withheld) in Lagos, Nigeria, made an astonishing claim to Psychologist and self proclaimed love Doctor Joro Olomufin on Instagram.
This woman in her message, accused her husband of stealing from her. Not only did he take the items, he allegedly stole the things from her shop to give to someone else.
The writer of the message is a retail shop owner who deals in bags, shoes, jewelry and hair. According to her, in October 2019, her CCTV camera was spoilt. This is a fact she claims her husband knows about.
About two weeks into March, her husband visited her shop on a Tuesday and later left the shop. Once he got home, he told her (the woman) he had left his wallet in her shop and had to retrieve it immediately.
The writer said she offered to keep the wallet in her shop but her husband declined her generous offer.
The next day, she noticed some items were missing from her shop; 2 handbags and human hair. In a fit of anger, she accused her sales girls and even went on to land a hefty slap on one girl who was rude to her.
She then decided to watch the footage from her CCTV camera which unknowing to her husband, had been fixed. She soon discovered and watched her husband go into the shop and come out with the 2 handbags and human hair.
After apologizing to her sales attendants, she made a copy of the tape. She decided to give her husband the grace period of about 3 days just to get him to confess. He did not. Rather, he spent his time cursing the staff off her shop and called them thieves.
His tune changed when she eventually played the tape and he viewed it. He accused her of being a “useless wife” who only spends his money without contributing anything to their marriage and because of that, he stole from her to replenish some of the money he spent during their marriage.
She ended her story by saying that,
My husband has money. He doesn’t need mine.
He is really forming vex for me and telling me I
should don’t bother cooking and he won’t be
giving me money anymore. And he won’t be
coming home tonight. What do I do?
