Death by elephants is no joke. Sadly, a woman found that the heavy way.
In Olgulului Group Ranch in Olmoti, Kajiado County, a woman was trampled to death by a herd of elephants.
The woman, who has not yet been identified was collecting firewood in a thicket. The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) said:
The incident was reported to our team in Amboseli National Park by a lady who had accompanied the deceased to collect firewood.
“Our patrol team rushed to the scene to secure the body and later transferred it to Loitoktok mortuary for postmortem,”
The sad incident was reported by KWS this Wednesday morning.
