One of Ghana’s fast emerging music groups, ZeeTown Melody aka Zee-TM is scheduled to perform at this year’s Creative African Exchange — CAX Umoja Live show in the Rwandan capital city of Kigali January 18, 2020.
Zee-TM known for their “Totori” hit-song are among other top Ghanaian acts performing at the festive Umoja event. Other Ghanaian acts on the bill include notable African and global actors, musicians and entrepreneurs such as Idris Elba, Steve Harvey, Djimmon Housou, D’Banj
According to Ahmed Abdul-Rasheed who is a management team member for Zee-TM, “this show happens to be their first international show outside Ghana and the pressure to perform well and make Ghana proud in Rwanda is there, but I know my boys and they’ve always given off their best wherever.”
Composed of Fuseini Emmanuel stage-named Adekid and Fuseini Julius Smith whose stage name is Jay Smith, the Zee-TM sibling duo recently performed to one of their largest audience at the just ended 2019 AfroXmas later December 2019 as well the Accra Carnival and other shows in the capital. SyPhics Studios was the curator of AfroXmas in collaboration with the Tema Metropolitan Assembly.
